Today I randomly noticed something while checking our rankings on various progression trackers.  If you take a look at GuildOx’s 10-Man Strict Progress Rankings for Bronzebeard, you’ll notice that The Censored Linguists have managed to hit #4 due to our recent ToC and ICC guild runs.  One more boss downed in ICC will even push us up to #2.

A couple caveats:

1. GuildOx is, by no means, the most widely used ranking site.  Rankings there should always be taken with a grain of salt, since they are wholly dependent on how many people have actually submitted their guild names to the site.

2. What does “10-Man Strict” mean, anyway?  Basically, guilds can only qualify for this ranking if they have a sufficient amount of people progressing in 10-man content, who also don’t have a bunch of gear and achievements from the 25-man versions.  Technically, we are currently considered 10-Man Strict by coincidence…not by conscious decision.

Now, If we do anything to lose our “Strict” status, our regular 10-man progression rank drops down to an 11-way tie for #82 (#58 if you’re just counting Alliance guilds), which if you ask me…is still pretty cool.
